The Zorra Summer Day Camp Sponsorship Program has been made possible by donations from members of the community who recognize the importance and benefits when children attend camp. This financial assistance is intended for campers from families who would not normally have the financial means to send their child to camp. This program will offer children, who are residents of Zorra Township and fulfil the camp registration requirements, the opportunity to attend 1 full week of Zorra Summer Day Camp. Sponsorships will be awarded on a first-come first served basis and are subject to space availability on the weeks requested. Click here for the application form.
Donations received in 2018
In addition to annonymous donors, we would like to recognize the following for their generosity:

Morgan Bates - A resident of Thamesford, Morgan was instrumental in creating the first Zorra Summer Day Camp program in 2017. As a student of the Wilfrid Laurier University, she was fortunate to benefit from the opportunities her own athletic scholarships provided her and highly values the importance of giving back to her community. As the Camp Coordinator for the Zorra Summer Camp inaugural season, Morgan saw firsthand the positive experiences created for children when at Camp and has committed to ensuring the opportunity is available to everyone.
Township of Zorra Municipal Office Staff - the staff used some of their proceeds from Jean Days to sponsor a week of camp for a child. As front line staff, we know how much it means for a kid to attend camp and we are happy to help make summer memories for a local child.
