Update regarding Embro Day Camp
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the Embro camp location permanently.
Since 2020, the Embro Camp has encountered low registration and limited access to amenities, such as a playground, splash pad and pool. We believe these factors have impacted on the overall camp experience and ability to attract and retain campers. The recent cancellation of the Embro March break camp due to low participation further highlighted the diminishing interest in that community. With two other great camp options available in Embro, families still have alternative choices for their local camp needs. With these factors considered, we feel that it is the best decision to focus our resources and efforts on the Zorra Day Camp in Thamesford to provide a safe, high-quality camp experience for our participants.
We welcome affected camp families to register for the Thamesford location, where campers will experience a Summer full of playground adventures, splashpad excitement, outdoor swims and more!

Not 16 years old? We are also interested in volunteers who would like to become part of the ‘Leader in Training’ team! This group of people will assist staff throughout the camp day making sure that our campers have the best experience possible!
Day Camp Sponsorship Program
The Zorra Summer Day Camp Sponsorship Program has been made possible by donations from members of the community who recognize the importance and benefits when children attend camp. This financial assistance is intended for campers from families who would not normally have the financial means to send their child to camp. This program will offer children, who are residents of Zorra Township and fulfil the camp registration requirements, the opportunity to attend 1 full week of Zorra Summer Day Camp. Sponsorships will be awarded on a first-come first served basis and are subject to space availability on the weeks requested. Click here for the application form.
