The Thamesford Pool follows the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life curriculum. 

Not sure what level to register your kids in for swimming lessons this summer? Check out the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program Guides for more information. They provide details regarding minimum requirements and goals for each level.

LESSON SCHEDULE

Morning Lessons

Swimmers will come each weekday morning for two weeks and participate in the Swim for Life program.  Lessons are scheduled between 9:00.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Session 1: July 1 – 12
Session 2: July 15 – 26
Session 3: July 29 - August 9
Session 4: August 12 – 23

$56.00/session, 30-minute class. For ‘Parent & Tot’, ‘Preschool 1 to 5’, and ‘Swimmer 1 & 2’.

$65.00/session, 45-minute class. For ‘Swimmer 3 to 6’. 

Evening Lessons

Swimmers will come on Tuesdays or Thursdays each week for 8 weeks between July 2 and August 22. Lessons are scheduled between 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday Lessons

Swimmer will come every Saturday for 8 weeks July 6-Aug 24. Lessons are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

$46.00/session, 30-minute class. For ‘Parent & Tot’, ‘Preschool 1 to 5’, and ‘Swimmer 1 & 2’.

$55.00/session, 45-minute class. For ‘Swimmer 3 to 6’. 

Private Lessons

Can be scheduled as often as required, subject to availability. Offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.  Lessons are 1 on 1 and are 30 minutes in length.

$25.00/lesson

Volunteer Opportunities

Why not volunteer at the pool? You can earn volunteer hours plus gain valuable experience that may help you to gain future employment at the pool! Must be 14 years of age and require at least Swimmer 6 of the Swim for Life Program by the Lifesaving Society. Click here to submit your application today!

Pool Passes are now available for purchase at the pool.

The Thamesford Area Swimming Pool follows the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life curriculum. The focus is on swimming. Their Swim for Life program stresses lots of in-water practice to develop solid swimming strokes and skills. Visit their website for information about this program.

Why not rent the Thamesford Area Swimming Pool for your next event? The pool is available for private bookings during the pool season:

• Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Saturdays after 4:00 p.m.

The Tiger Sharks Swim Team is a great way to build your swimming skills and have fun while on a team! Team members will have the opportunity to go to swim meets throughout the summer and test their skills against others in the area! 

Open to all ages (children, teens and adults) who can swim a recognizable stroke for one length of the pool.

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Swim Meets:
Wednesday Evenings
