The Purchasing Policy outlines how the Township acquires goods and services.
Zorra Tender Opening - Tender results are announced and recorded as opened. The amounts listed in the Tender Results have not been checked or verified and may contain errors. The Township of Zorra reserves the right to reject any of all bids and the lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
The Township of Zorra now uses bids&tenders to source for goods and services. This makes it easy for vendors to review, register and download, and submit bids online in one bidding system. Please visit our page on the Bids&Tenders website for more information and to view Tenders & RFPs.
Using the Township of Zorra's Online Bids and Tenders

Select "Register for Bid" to be added to the bidders list and to be able to download documents for each bid opportunity. Only registered bidders may access bid documents.

Select the Categories of Interest for which you or your company would like to receive updates.

When registration is complete click on the link to download the bid document.

To download additional copies, return to our site and login with your username and password.

It is the bidder's responsibility to check this web page often for any addendums. Bids received without a signed addendum attached (if applicable) will not be accepted.

Submitted bid documents or addendums that have been altered or do not match the documents posted on this website will not be accepted.

The Township will be participating in Cooperative procurement and in order to maintain compliance with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement the attached declaration is provided.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Building Fees and Charges
Pursuant to Subsection 7(6) of the Building Code Act,
R.S.O 1991 as amended
TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Zorra will hold a Public Meeting to consider the passing of the Building By-Law to amended existing building fees and changes under Section 7(6) of the Ontario Building Code Act, as amended.
A PUBLIC MEETING will be held by the Township of Zorra at the Zorra Municipal Centre, 163 Brock St. Thamesford, ON N0M 2M0 on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT the Township of Zorra will be applying Consumer Price Indexing (CPI) of 2.4% to the fees listed in the Building By-Law as directed by Township of Zorra policy 500-09. CPI brings the building permit fees in line with current direct and indirect costs related to administering and enforcing the Ontario Building Code Act in the Township.
A REPORT outlining the proposed fees is available and can be viewed online or in person at the municipal office. Please reference report 2026-100. The report includes information related to building permit fees including:
- An estimate of the costs of administering and enforcing the Ontario Building Code Act by the Township; and
- CPI adjustments
