The Council of the Township of Zorra passed by-law 67-12 at a Council meeting on September 18, 2012. This by-law established a fee of $300.00 for Ontario Power Authority - Feed-In Tariff Application Council Support Request. The Council of the Township of Zorra passed by-law 90-11 at a Council meeting on December 6, 2011. Amending by-law 55-16 amended some fees. Service fees are as follows:

The Township’s School Bus Grant offers $500.00 per year to schools within the Township, in addition to paying for the bussing for Township-sanctioned Local Government Week activities. See policy 500-11 for full details. The application form for the grant is available on our forms page.
Volunteer organizations and/or community groups provide many services to the residents and taxpayers of the Township of Zorra. Policy 500-06 is to establish criteria to allow the Township to financially assist those volunteer groups that provide programs, service and events for the betterment of the community that would otherwise not be provided. The deadline to apply for a Community Grant is October 1st of each year to be considered for a grant in the following year. View the Community Grants Policy here. Capital Project Grant
The policy applies to all partnerships between community groups and the Township of Zorra for capital projects. Capital projects are projects of an unusual or extraordinary nature, with a total projected capital cost of at least $5,000 that will build upon, add to, create, or improve a capital asset. Capital grants are provided for projects involving construction or purchase of physical assets, including, but not limited to, land, building and associated renovation costs.
