Zoning Uses Permitted

Township of Zorra Zoning By-Law No. 35-99 

The Township of Zorra Zoning By-Law controls the use of land by dividing the municipality into different land use zones with detailed maps, specifying the uses permitted in each zone, specifying where buildings and other structures can be located, stating the types of buildings that are permitted and how they may be used, as well as specifying lot sizes and dimensions, parking requirements, building heights and setbacks from the street.

Canada Post Strike

Canada Post mail service to and from the Township of Zorra has been interrupted due to the postal strike. For time-sensitive documents, there is a 24-hour mail slot outside of the Zorra Municipal Centre located at 163 Brock Street in Thamesford. 

A regular instalment of taxes is due on October 31, 2025. Property owners are responsible for ensuring payments are received at our office by the due date in order to avoid a penalty. Please visit our Finance page for payment options.
